Stop to Smell The Roses I have never claimed to have an original thought, but rather a transporter of valuable truth, hidden deep in the holds of my ship of life to share with those in need. To some they have no value but to others, they are life indeed. Deut. 30. 19 : I set before you, life and death. Choose life that you and your seed may live. Example: Happiness and love are in your hands to choose or reject. To reject is to choose bitterness. To Quote the words of a poet: “Some say, love it’s a river that drowns the tender reed. Some say love, it is a razor that leaves the soul to bleed. Some say Love it is a hunger an endless ache and need. I say, love it is a flower, and you it’s only seed. It’s the heart, afraid of breaking that never learns to dance. It’s the dream afraid of waking that never takes the chance. It’s the one who won’t be taken that never seems to give. And the soul afraid of dying, that never learns to live. When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long, and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong, just remember in the winter, far beneath the bitter snow, lies the seed, that with the Son’s love, in the spring becomes a rose. |
